The Timeline

1 AE - 1000 AE

Before the first dawn, the Architects breathed upon the void, and the world awoke. The mythic beginning of Aeonar: the unrecorded epoch before mortal calendars.

1000 AE - 2500 AE

The Rise of the Aeonic Empire. The world learned to build with both hands: one of Breath, and one of Spark. Aetheric theory became science. Machines became art.

2500 AE - 3200 AE

The Empire at its Height and Decline. They sought not to touch the stars, but to command them. Magic became bureaucracy; invention became obsession.

0 SA - 400 SA (3200 AE - 3600 AE)

Dawn of the Second Aeon. The world did not die in the Cataclysm. It exhaled, and began again. Scattered survivors gathered into two civilizations: the Aetherion Dominion and the Technocratic Federation of Solara.

400 SA - 1000 SA (3600 AE - 4200 AE)

The great rebuilding. From the ashes of the First Aeon, two suns rose, each believing itself the true light of the world. For nearly four centuries, peace and trade blossomed.

1000 SA - 1200 SA (4200 AE - 4400 AE)

The world no longer split in half: it learned to smile while sharpening the knife. Trust collapsed between the Dominion and Federation. Cooperation twisted into rivalry, then paranoia.

1200 SA - Present (4400 AE - 4440 AE)

The Present Era. When Breath and Spark draw near once more, the world will either awaken... or end. Both realms stand on the edge of unification or annihilation.
